With the introduction of Net Metering system by PLN where the residential users can put their excess of energy resulted from its rooftop solar system, there have been increasing numbers of residential installations especially in metropolitan cities, such as Jakarta. Instead of storing the excess of energy into the costly energy storage, i.e. battery, the consumers can feed it straight to the PLN grid.

This time, SEDAYU team installed a 7.5 kWp rooftop solar system in a residential house in Bogor using REC solar modules and ABB inverters. Upon successful commissioning, the owner is able to save up to 50% of his electricity bill.
